• CROATIAN ACADEMY OF AMERICA ŽARKO CUCULIĆ MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

  1. Goal.

  The Croatian Academy of America shall award two (2) $5,000 scholarships to students studying for a degree in the United States in the fields of the arts, medicine, theology or other credible major.

  2. Eligibility.

  A student applying for the scholarship must meet the following minimum criteria: (i) have completed high school a cumulative GPA of at least a B or its equivalent; (ii) have been admitted to an accredited university or college in the United States, and (iii) show a demonstrated dedication to the participation and/or promotion of topics related to Croatian history, art, literature and/or culture.

  3. Application.

  Students must complete the application and submit same to the Croatian Academy of America’s email cainfo@croatianacademy.org. Applicants may be requested to participate in interviews with or submit additional information to the Croatian Academy of America in connection with their applications.

  4. Awards.

  Awards of the scholarship are usually announced before December 15 of the calendar year in which scholarships shall be awarded. The Croatian Academy of America reserves the right not to make any awards of the scholarship in any academic year.

  Applicants need not be a member of the Croatian Academy of America to receive a scholarship.
